Peach and Cherry Cream Cheese Trifle - TastyPlanner.com

This is a quick and easy dessert that requires no baking!

Ingredients
1 small pkg. peach Jello
2 cans sliced peaches in juice (rather than syrup)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 container Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling

Instructions
Drain the peaches and save the juice. Cut the peaches into chunks and set the bowl aside. In another small bowl, microwave about 1/3 cup of the peach juice (about 30-40 seconds) until hot. Mix the box of Jello with the hot juice to dissolve. Use your mixer to combine the cream cheese with the dissolved Jello. Then stir in about 2/3 of the Cool Whip and the peaches. In a clear bowl, layer the Cool Whip mixture with the cherry pie filling making four layers all together. On top of the last cherry layer, with a teaspoon make little dollops of Cool Whip all over the top. Place one pecan half on each dollop of Cool Whip. Refrigerate until ready to use.
