Spicy sweet green beans that accent a meat entree are always quick and easy. They are also a crowd pleaser.

Prep time: 2 Min. Cook time: 5 Min. Serves: 4

Ingredients

1 can green beans or 1 small pot fresh green beans, cooked

2 tblsp apple jelly

1/2 tsp chili powder

1/2 cayenne pepper

Instructions

Fully cook green beans to your liking and place in serving dish.

Melt jelly in a small glass bowl. Add chili powder and Cayenne pepper. While still liquid, pour over green beans. Serve and enjoy!

I halved the amount of spices since I was serving it to my kids. My four year old devoured the beans and kept talking about how much she loved them.

They were good. Next time I may use some slivered almonds on top for presentation, especially if I am making this for others.
